    There's a lot of emotion energy involved in downsizing. These are not just logical decisions, and many of them go better if you take time to process your feelings. You may find it easier to part with "treasures" you really won't have room for if you take good pictures of the items. That way you still have the memory without the object. I also find it easier to part with things that have sentimental value if I know they're going to a good home. If friends and family can't use them, maybe you can find a shop that supports a charity you strongly believe in. My counselor reminded me to trust that Divine Order would make sure my treasures ended up in to the right home.
