    I had been using alphas; however, you are probably right to use the text tools. I hadn't thought of the dodge and burn tools. Good idea. Thank you.

    Thank you. Tried the dissolve blender. For some reason, I can never detect a difference with that one. Is there another blending mode you would recommend?
    I have found an alpha that looks fairly good on the eggs. I'll probably go with that this time.

    I never understood the groups in blending moods. That is a good tip. I'll check Syndee's blog article as well. I doubt there is much difference in PSE10, which I'm still using. All good advice. Thank you all.
