  1. I love this! I would not have thought of doing the punchout letters over the photo, but it looks terrific. And I like the balance with the delicate paper and embellishments. Perfect!
  2. This is perfect! Everything about it is so good. You chose the right amount of embellishment, not over done, but adding to the overall feel. Congratulations- you really deserve it. Your family will cherish your work.
  3. Yep, I echo all the comments above. This is a treasure for your family, and an exceptional design. It is going into my favorites too, for inspiration. It so captures the joy of cousins being together.
  4. Happy Birthday! Hope you are having a great day!

This SO captures the sun, the fun, the joy of a little boy. Love it, all of it!
  7. This is beautiful. It is wonderful to document a love affair with a special tree. Your journaling is perfect, poetic. The whole layout is one so well.
  8. Love Love this!! The lighting, the blending, it is just classy! Your picture looks like a fine art still life. Thank you for sharing this with us!
  9. Thank you Ann, but you are probably giving me credit for Angie Brigg's blending. I used her collage paper with the leaves, etc. blended in. I jumped a big paint stroke to a separate layer and used it as a clipping mask for the photo of my granddaughter. I added a couple of paint strokes to help her blend in better, but most of the beautiful blending is Angie's.
  10. Our granddaughter brought home an injured little butterfly and wanted to take such good care of it. 11. I just have to echo the comments made above. I love this. It is a treasure for your family and an important piece of your history. Such a great job of tying the journaling to the visual.
  12. Love it! Perfect capture of your important role.
  13. I love the way you used watercolor style paper and elements to continue the theme. Beautiful, all of it! I snagged the font too :-)
  14. I really admire layouts like this one where you got several photos on it, showing both the overall spirit of the subject and also intimate details. But you kept it simple and uncluttered while still lovely. I am still working on that ideal. It's so easy to over do.
  15. Just stopping by to wish you a very happy birthday!
