Topics I've Started

HELP! I am trying to finish off my grandson's christening album and I want to blend in several photos to the backgorund. These are of people and while I want to include them on one page they are not connected to each other. I have seen a few montages doing this and think this would work well for my page. However I have just spent hours trying to get it looking right. I have seen a tut or 2 on it but of course can't find them now that I need them. I am using PSCS3. Any help would be appreciated.

Do I need to organise my styles the same way as the brushes? I ask this because I loaded my Scrap Girls styles but couldn't find them today. I had looked at other styles that came with PSCS3 so am wondering if this is the case. And how do you organise your styles, or rather what categories do you use? I'm looking for suggestions as I set up CS3.

New E-book

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful little book. I have just managed to restore two very precious photos from the early 1900s using the blending modes in this book. And I haven't even read past page 6 yet. I had almost given up on these two very old photos, one of my grandmother in a hat all dressed up and one of my mother well before I was born.

I am looking foreward to the rest of the book and the other e-books I bought too. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful little book.

What wonderful guides the new e-books are. Please please tell me that there will be one coming out on actions. I bought an action on stitching last week and can't can't get it working right all the way through. I live in hope!

Not Quite New But!

I've been around since the beginning of this year and spent a lot of time reading messages, replying, having fun and trying out the tuts etc before buying. Now I've started buying and really making a few layouts and had many questions which I put up in various forums.

The girls here are just so great and the help they have given an oldie like me has been wonderful. I have been very quiet lately because I've been making layouts and trying to do something completely new each layout.

My daughter gave me a 'ScrapGirls gift cert' for mother's day (at my hinting of course) which I promptly used and 'stuffed up' trying to use it and the 13.7% discount voucher. I shouldn't have worried - Angie sorted it all out for me once again.

I just want to say a great big thank you to ScrapGirls and to all the forum members who have been so patient with me and my questions. I just love this site and have got my daughter and a couple of her friends interested in digi scrapping now. I still do a little paper scrapping but not much. Got to use up the supplies!

Digi scrapping is the best! Once again many thanks!
