Weekly Layout Chosen...thank You!

I was reading my mail, enjoying the layouts in the Sat newsletter and appreciating Ann's winning layout, when I scrolled a little farther and saw my own layout featured as the weekly layout winner, too!
REALLY that was such fun layout to do, took very little time once I knew which papers and trims I would use.
When I put a lot of love and thought into a layout, it's such a sweet blessing to see it be a blessing to others, as well.

Weekly Layout Winner

Wow!
Thank you for the honor of choosing my desktop of granddaughter Sally for layout of the week! It was a pleasant surprise in my morning coffee and mail ritual!
Most of the work was done by Brandy Murry in her papers and kit. Just loved working with this kit for the first time and will likely use it again often.
The actual layout took less than a half hour because most of the papers were already prepped.

Praise... A Job Interview

After consulting with my financial advisor this spring, we figured I should go back to work a few years to get some funds saved for retirement. Not much employment is out there for M-F and Sundays off, so I tried lots of banks. I was a teller for 2 & half years, besides 5 year front desk insurance office, including being an agent for 3 years. Lots of experience, but will they even "look" at an old grandma like me?
I was pleasantly surprised to see them training a new teller about my age so I went home and applied for one of the positions. I have several branches to choose from and all are close enough. One is so close, I wouldn't need to get on the highway!
Today they called to schedule an interview and testing!! Oh neat!
I do hope they can give me time off for our grandkids' weddings and our paid for vacation! Appreciate your prayers for those matters!
YAY... back to work
