This is the completed Seaside CD/DVD clock complete with hands.

I found some CD clock making kits on Ebay and decided to have a go at making my own themed clocks. The embellishments have come from Refresh Collection Biggie. The technique I used was to measure an old DVD and create a slightly bigger canvas in Photoshop CS2. I then used the Shape Tool to create the circle, divided the clock into sections using the Line Tool in order to position the numbers. I then used the layers to import the background and stickers. I printed the design on 200gsm card, cut it to size and stuck it on the font of the DVD. I then assembled the clock parts to create the clock, which works wonderfully and is a nice cheery addition to the bathroom.

This altered clock was created using The View embellishments, a tag and an old plastic clock. I unscrewed the plastic cover to dismantled the clock fixtures, created the design using Photoshop and then glued it on to the back of the clock. I then reassembled the clock.
