My mother took this photo of myself and two of my younger sisters in Montreal. I'm the blond on the far left. I don't know exactly how old we are, but the one with the plastic turtle on her head (I no longer remember why) is three years my junior and the brunette, four years. I have had this photo as my iPhone 'lock screen' for some time now and when I found the quote I thought it was perfect. I have literally been carrying a piece of my childhood with me.

Gen,

You're right! That quote ties in beautifully with your story! I like the way you used outdoorsy embellishments to highlight the outdoors photo and the use of colour is subtle but effective :-).

My guess is you are close to 7. Great job!
