Blending Modes

This is Mia, one of our cats.

The blending modes I used on this were lighten and overlay to give the flowers a more stamped look, and because I thought my photo was too orangy I made a solid white layer over it and used color mode and the opacity slider to lighten it real quick.

Mia is adorable! The stamped look of the flowers is wonderful against the blue paper. I really like the alpha and embellishments you used too.

Wonderful tip about using white and the colour mode to lighten your photo Melanie, I must use that! Mia is adorable, I love tabbies (shhh don't tell my black cats!) and the effect really makes her white stand out as it would in real life :-) The flowers look great and the corner title is super cute and playful!
