Nov. Week 3-1,2,3,4

This was a great challenge. To turn a photo into a colored sketch was a great lesson! I used all 4 lessons to create this.

Day 1 I used number 3 and just played and layered until I was happy.

Day 2 I blended until it look made to the page

Day 3 I added the ink spots and ripped paper

Day 4 I just added a little note to say i love art

This is a photo of an old barn I love to visit.

I used all ATF Seasonal Fall Papers

PWR SS Papers Ripped and Rolled

ACA Brush set Ink it Up

BMU Botanical brush

BMU Sketchbook paint pot

Wow this is really different. You did a wonderful job with all the challenges. The barn photo is great..is that your barn? The page is a work of art.

Victoria that's Beautiful! I love how you blended the photo layers so masterfully into the background so that it is seemless. And that torn paper at the bottom is inspired - love it! Thank you for taking part in the challenges this week - I hope you enjoyed them.

Beautiful page, Victoria! The barn and its sheltering trees is so nostalgic, and you've made it look like an artful sketch. Your blending is wonderful - the foreground seems to emerge naturally from the paper, or is the paper part of the foreground? Amazingly, artfully scrapped.

Wow, Victoria, this is gorgeous! Your photo-to-painting is beautiful and I love how you blended it into your background and used the torn page and as Jo says - it's seamless and so artistic! Super job on completing all four tasks and I really like how you used the paintbrush and paint. Awesome work, just amazing!

I'm in love with the wonderful antique look you've given the page. It looks terrific! I like how you carried it through the whole page, too with the old curled paper, the brush, and the ink pot, even a wonderful grungy splotch of ink! Great job with the challenges!

This is insanely good!!! What a fantastic place to visit and this photo lent itself so wonderfully to an artful treatment... the aged effect with the paper fits in so perfectly with the era of the barn -which of course was entirely intentional... you totally rocked this challenge and I think it is just beautiful. If you like going there I think you should print this so you have it always :-) Love the aged grunge and the wee journalling... great touch!
