Project Life, week50-2016

Thank goodness all our “big stuff” is finished. After a couple of days with no plans, we went to the Nashville Rescue Mission and sang for the men. It is always a humbling experience and we are just as blessed (if not more) than the residents,

Wednesday night, instead of choir, we had our annual holiday party at Tim and Deb’s home. It’s so beautiful, and this year we got to know their grandkids a little better. They have been living with them since August when Deb’s daughter had to relocate to this area. Jonathan is 4, just like our Zander.

This car pulled up next to us at a stoplight. You have to admit, it’s unique!

The party was great fun, and aside from lots of food (we ARE Methodists, after all) we had a scavenger hunt (inside the house!) and a Dirty Santa gift exchange. My gift was a “Selfie Mistletoe Ball”! Everyone

agreed that it was perfect for me. Hmm, I think I’m getting a reputation .....

Thursday I started feeling sick and by Saturday I had to take myself to the clinic at Walgreen’s. Yay! Strep throat just in time for the holidays! He assured me I wasn’t contagious at the party. Just call me Typhoid Mary.

Sounds like a fun and busy pre-Holiday week and very impressive you're up-to-date. I like the background you used and your Boyton cartoon made me smile. My Mom was the spirit of Christmas and did SO much decorating, etc -- yet she loved "Bah Humbug" and wearing shirts with it on! :)
