Project Life, Week 50, 2017

This is our busiest week of the year. On Tuesday evening most of our choir went to the Nashville Rescue Mission to present our Christmas program. It was very well received, and this year I get to conduct one of the pieces. It’s like riding a bicycle, although being retired is a lot more fun! Afterward we held with tradition and some of us stopped at Ruby Tuesday for dinner.

Wednesday evening, before choir, we had the chance to watch our kids practicing for their program. It’s cute, and they’re doing a great job!

I’m so excited to see that our little neighborhood is getting a historic marker! Dave knows how much I love these, and I’m always begging him to stop so that I can read them! Our road into the neighborhood is Enon Springs Road, and this commemorates the Enon Meeting House in the mid-1800s. I need to get a better look.

Santa visited our church for the annual “Breakfast with Santa” event. Some of our neighbors went this year, too, and I was so very touched to get such a warm greeting from them and from all of the kids, too.  Judging from our photos, Santa definitely knows what we’ve been up to this year. Oops?

Got my nails did on Saturday, now they match the red blouse I’m wearing for our program on Sunday. My shopping is coming along and I should be finished and wrapped right on time.
