Journaling: Maria, my grandpa Oscar Tangen’s mother, was the oldest child of Iver and Annie Hippe while Bernard was the youngest son. Bernard Hippe married Annie Thompson, the sister of my grandma, Mabel Thompson. Thus, Oscar’s uncle Bernard was also Oscar’s brother-in-law.
