Journaling: Making pancakes while camping was a family affair for Eden (5), Elliott (4) and Emma (11 mo.).

Recipe: Camping Memories - Made by Steven, Sara and kids on 6/26/22

Ingredients: Family, Time, Laughter, Imagination, Campground, Tent & other camping gear, Food including pancake mix, bacon, & syrup, Camp stove and other cooking gear, Plates, cups, & eating utensils

Directions: 1. Drive to campground and set up tent. 2. Sleep overnight in tent; wake up hungry. 3. Have all three kids sit on picnic table. 4. Give big spoon and empty bowl to baby. 5. Have older kids help make pancake batter. 6. Fry pancakes and bacon on camp stove, including heart-shaped pancakes. 7. Set out plates, cups, eating utensils, juice boxes, butter and syrup. 8. Eat and enjoy! 9. Do lots of other activities together like swimming & have fun for the rest of the day!
