Rudyard Lake is in fact a reservoir, built in the 18th century to ensure a continuous supply of water to the local canal. It was here that John Lockwood Kipling met the woman who was to become his wife. They loved the place so much, they named their son after the lake. Rudyard Kipling became a famous Edwardian author.

wow! that is an interesting story. Back in highschool I was required to read a few of Rudyard Kiplings books including Jungle Book. All those circles on your page look good.

That is a history tidbit that I never knew. Great use of the plaid and the photos in the circles are a great contrast to the lines of the plaid.
