I have  blended the journaling as I do not think it right of me to share it with strangers but I needed this scrap therapy. In this photo of Ken he is smiling but not his normal happy smile. This was when we stayed in our daughter's resort unit after having cleaned out our flood devastated home.  We did not know where our future was heading....

Credits:  mask for photo was some paint in the collection :  MPE_Journal Artsy

paper and embellishments from Fragility by Designs by Helly ( could not find in the store so must be an old kit I had in my stash)

I hope scrapping about this brought you a calmness and peace, Anne-Marie. Blending the words is just fine, and should be reserved for yourself and not strangers. I do like the way this layout looks like clouds around the blended image. Your single word with the cluster is impactful. Thanks for participating in the challenge.

Everything about this is perfectly done. The clouds around and blended with your personal journaling is really profound in a way. I like your cluster and title very much. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful page. This was a great challenge & the permission I needed (most everyone too) to just FEEL & process stuff.

I hope you found the process cathartic Anne Marie. I applaud your courage in sharing this and in enduring everything that's happened to you over the past year.

So sorry for your hurt and suffering. As if the flooded house wasn't enough you had to have some family problem too. I am glad things are working out with the new house. What doesn't break us makes us stronger.

You and Ken have been through so much Anne Marie and I can see how as you say he does not have his usual full smile for this photo.  You may have blended your words but you did it so beautifully it's almost mystical in dark clouds. Your page is so graphic it shows your pain and hurt without needing exact words at all.   I see little bits of blue peeking through the sky and I am hoping that you both see that soon too.  Thank you for sharing your story and feelings in this beautifully created page.

What a distressing time - sometimes the difficulties seem never ending. Your page looks great and even the blended out journaling reinforces the feeling of discomfort and hurt. Perfect cluster.

I love that you blended the journaling, you are right, sometimes we want to tell the story but not share it, when it is personal. Love your page.
