Jumpstart January 2023 Week 2 - TBZ Lights

My photos were difficult because other things showed besides the lights (people, bushes, etc).  By accident I discovered that duplicating the photo and changing the top layer blend mode to linear burn blackened the background so the lights appeared just as they did in real life!  I also had fun with Angie's help changing the settings on her Neon Bright styles which I used on the string and my title. @angleigh
Journaling reads:
''On a frigid night in mid-December the neighbors and  I bundled up and braved the cold to visit the “Holiday Lights Spectacular” at our nearby county zoo.  The two little ones either walked and pushed the wagon or rode in it bundled up in blankets.  We were cold, but it was fun seeing the lights display and animal shapes and listening to Holiday Music.  It got us in the Christmas spirit quickly!"
For this layout I used:
SNU SS Styles: Shadow Me
ABR SS Styles: Neon Bright
AFT SS Style Every Day Glitter Value Pack
KK A Very Special Christmas Collection
MFIsh Masked Memories 1 Templates
Kcroninbarrow Making Spirits Bright
and my own photos

That must be really cool to see in person.  This is a great collection of pictures to remind you of the wonderful light show.  I will have to keep in mind linear burn for darkening the background..that is super .

Great page.

What beautiful lighting displays! I love your photos (and thanks for the photography tip! ) Everything looks so festive -- it puts us right in a holiday mood. I love the glitter you added as well.

Very striking page! You did a great job keeping those bright lights illuminated and at center stage! One day we'll have to get up there to see your zoo. I"ve heard good things about it.

These types of photo are always tricky for me to scrap too but you did a great job with them.  I will have to remember that trick about the linear burn!
