Photos by me but the book was found on the internet. 

Journaling reads:

When we moved into our new little home
and Ken spotted this tree that we can see
from our front door, he named it the
“Faraway Tree”.
When we got married he bought the book 
“The magic Faraway Tree” to read to Ruth 
because as  a child he had read the book. 
Growing up I had never heard of, or read 
this book. Ruth enjoyed the stories that 
Ken read to her each night. I remember
some nights I would sit in and listen to
one of the stories also.

What awesome journaling. I love the the pages of the book, line the bottom of the page. Your font that you use is a winner. You always use such great fonts. I like the photos of the tree and the book. Lovely layout and I think a very special memory.

I hadn't heard of that book but  now I'm curious and will try to find it. I love your journaling, your always wonderful page design, and that little owl perched upon the book.

What sweet memories and that your husband thought of that shows how important those memories are to him. I like you the book page border and the pretty polka dot ribbon. Lovely layout.
