The spider is a photo of Charlie, taken in our garden.  Henry checks up on him quite regularly. I actually think the Charlie should be named, Charlene.

I don't know anything about the Caribbean, so I just used red in the colour challenge.

Oh my goodness, your flower hibiscus is so beautiful I didn't even see Charlie/Charlene until I looked closely!   Wow!   That is SOME spider, we don't see the likes of them in NJ.   You layout is so pretty and you used color so well.     I like seeing the pretty flowers in your pic when it's cold/freezing and dreary here and nothing is growing!

Hibiscus flowers are a favorite of mine!  Although, here in Missouri, I don't equate them with the holidays.  I like the way you framed the main photo and the ocean in the background is soooo soothing!  Lovely layout, Belle!
