Oh Betty this is lovely and so is your Great-Aunt Neva.  I had a Great Auntie Anne - she always told us her real name was "Neva" in Italian - "snow" in English.  Your photo is a treasure and I really like the soft colors you surrounded it with.  How cool to see the dress of those days and the colors you used go so well with the BW photo.

That is a great keepsake photo! She looks like such an interesting person! I LOVE that hat. Your use of brushes is really neat and I like the layering as well. Very pretty with the pops of lilac.
