Very cool page..I love the sketch look and of course a photo from a dock is right up my alley. I loved the Atlantic Highlands for a few day anchorage.. Wow, you had to switch the location of the pens...That is so cool. The charcoal background really sets off the sketchpad. Super B&W page.

Thanks, Debby!   I know you know the area.   Atlantic Highlands has the big Marina, these were just old docks in Highlands!  

I love the sketch effects you made! The sketch really brings out the wood shapes from the dock. I love how the black background looks with it, too and your sketch title is a great idea as well. (I got a good laugh out of your "lefty" pens.  )

Great sketch treatment to the photo. I like how you made it look like someone sketched it for real by putting it on the art spiral. The black background is perfect and so are the pens.

this is really neat, what a fun way to remake a photo. the switching of the pens is worth it for a couple of our  kids that are left handed. Thanks for sharing your artistic LO!

Marilyn!! This is exquisite! This turned out beautifully, better than any of my sketches. To use a sketch pad adds to the realism. Such details!

Wow! Just seeing this now and it looks fantastic!  So touchable and real. The sketched title is the perfect font . It totally looks hand drawn on the paper.  Embellished pens look as real as the tablet. Awesome work.
