However, the larger jars are quite heavy, even with strong magnets, and I am not sure how well they will last long term. If I had to do it again, I would stick with all medium-sized containers. Celestine Posted March 21 @Boatlady I will say this has been a good solution for me. I used to store my herbs and spices in a narrow, vertical shelf space that was where an ironing board went into the wall in our 1920s kitchen. It was divine for storing spices. When we remodeled the kitchen, we lost that space and I started to use a kitchen cabinet with those small stacked, plastic shelves. I was constantly knocking over spices reaching for the things in the back. It drove me batty. This works so much better - I can see everything and it is so handy. If the spices don't all fit in the container, I have a top shelf where the "leftovers" reside, including my home-dried herbs, and I only have to get into that every once in a while. MariJ Posted March 21 This is so cool and what a wonderful and very functional idea! I couldn't figure out from the newsletter what this was all about, but you explain and show it so well here! Your photos are great and I like how you showed us before and after. Your background and embellishments are great. 1 Quote Link to comment
Scrapin Pat Posted March 22 What a creative idea. I would never have thought about storing spices in that way. 1 Quote Link to comment
Belle Posted May 13 I love your idea of magnets. Never thought to put them on the fridge. Great title work and word art. I like the collection that you used. 1 Quote Link to comment
