#the100daychallenge 2023 05 03
This was a slow week. We needed it after the busy weekend with the kids. I got off work early on Tuesday 4/4 since I had to work this Saturday so I went to visit Grandma Ann. She wanted to refresh the flowers on Grandpa’s grave and my cousin Lucus’ grave (son of Kristi and Marty, died before he was born). I helped her get the flowers out of the basement. Uncle Tom came by with some Easter flowers. He sat and watched Grandma work as I stuffed the Easter eggs with candy for the annual hunt in her yard on Easter. Later we took the flowers to the cemetery. It was a windy day. On Wednesday 4/5, it rained during the day but stopped just in time for me to do a Spring photo session for our friends Shannon and Austin. I photographed their daughter, Hazel and Austin’s sister Alaina. They brought chicks and ducks. It was so cute! But, it also was chilly and windy. Hazel liked the chicks but they were too little to show up in the photos so we brought out the ducks. It was down hill from there. The photo of them sums up the whole session- Hazel crying, Alaina helping, and the ducks running! I did get a few good shots though. Momma and Dad were happy.
