This is so not ordinary! I"m thankful David wasn't hurt! You've done a great job portraying the difficult roads. That alpha is perfect and the paper with the dark marks totally looks like potholes right here in your paper. Is that the way the paper came or did you embellish it to make the potholes? Looks really good.

Oh, my goodness, potholes here too can be a menace and cause all kinds of distress to cars and people in them.   Your photos are so descriptive and I like how you arranged them.   Your background is awesome and looks just like a city street.  I really. like your creative title and journaling circle and I hope David was ok.

Yikes! I hope David is OK. Great photos and description, and I especially like your background with the cracks and tire tread. Super title work -- I can almost feel the jarring. 😮

Oh my goodness. That could have been tragic and look at how bent the rim is on the wheel - unbelievable! I am glad he was okay! Your use of the concrete and the fonts really reinforce the pothole and danger. Very clever layout.

I blended the industrial strength paper (concrete) which has cracks in it with the cracked overlay paper to make it look like potholes.

Yep David was fine, just thankful he wasn't going fast as he knew the roads are bad. Every time we got along this road to Auckland it just gets worse.

Smart guy! I'm glad he wasn't injured. Now, if they'd only be able to fix the roads! Growing up in an area of frozen winters I remember they had to wait until late spring to do the road work. I don't know if that's the same in your area... and of course all the rain doesn't help.
