That's a great photo and pretty birds and good to see Amy's birds, I'm wondering what kind they are?   Your background is lovely and so colorful just like those little guys.   I really like your matting and elegant lace and the simple embellishment is perfect for this page.

Those are the White-fronted Bee eaters in the Africa Rocks Aviary. That it a great shot of them! You've captured their colors brilliantly in the background, and your multiple layered mats look nice. The orange patterned paper is fun and whimsical. Wonderful layout.

@MariJ @mimes1 Thanks for your kind comments. And, Marilyn, I'm glad Amy identified the birds for you. We took photos at all the aviaries, but most of them were blurred. I think the camera focused on the metal enclosures. Some came out well, and I'm glad this one did because those little guys are so pretty! :)

I am glad you moved forward with the challenge even though the order was difficult! Go back and look in the gallery, and each layout is so different! You have used incredible primary colors and the use of the brush and the patterns are so cool. Great photo!

Yes, the layering in order was difficult for me as well! I love the colors you used in your bg and the dark green really helps your cool photo pop! I think you simple cluster really balances with the branch in the photo. Nicely done!
