This is gorgeous Debby and it does look like that paper was made just for your photo!    Reed is adorable and I like the happy look on his face as the Monarch lands on him.   I like how you divided your page and the colors you used, this is really beautiful.

What a perfect photo to match with that elegant and beautiful paper! How neat is it that Reed could do that with you - and that you raise butterflies from caterpillars. I would love to see a layout about how you do that! I was just reading in a botanical  garden journal that milkweed patches were dwindling in the Midwest, and that is nearly an essential plant here for monarch propagation. We used to love to go into the prairie near our home as kids and see the caterpillars on the milkweed, along with all the other varied and interesting insects. I would love to hear how you do it in Florida!

Oh my gosh, this is fantastic, Debby! I don't recall seeing this, but it looks like you posted it in (2017?) before I was active here at ScrapGirls. This looks like it was a labor of love. How neat that you shared it with us and the younger generation.

Not sure when I posted it but it wasn't 2017 because this is only my second year of monarchs. At the end of this month I will be caterpillar sitting for 50 black swallowtails...a friend is going away so I will take care of them till they are back. Our friend group is very butterfly friendly!

That's so cool that you get to babysit butterflies! Who knew that was a thing! I loved seeing this layout because you just told me about the experience with Reid when we were at the zoo. I agree with the others that this paper was made just for you and this layout. Love the anglular layout element and how the main photo isn't tilted - a fine detail that really stands out nicely.
