Grow Old Along With Me Silhouettes

She Drew New Lines Alpha Pack

A special memory I have with my dad is when he would call me out to our north facing front porch, usually on a hot summer night to watch the Northern lights.  He would tell me that if we sat real still and quiet we would see them dancing low on the horizon. the lights were mesmerizing and magical as we studied the movement of light and shadow within them. truly very special moments. Dad also knew all the stars and constellations by name. He taught me how to identify the big dipper, orion and his belt, and many others. The story goes that one night when I was 5 or 6,  we were out watching the stars, as we gazed at the heavens, I asked dad "where do I fit into all of this"?,  Dad would tell me later as I was grown that he was amazed and speechless by such a profound question coming from so young a child..

Oh, Amy this is so beautiful it made me tear, the story of you and your Dad is priceless and a wonderful memory to scrap.   Your journaling is so touching and I like how you blended in your vertical title.   I love how you used Laura's "A Sky Full of Stars" pieces, they all look like they were made for your layout.   The silhouettes add a wonderful feel to your story; this is really outstanding and so special...

What a beautiful memory! And a beautiful layout to celebrate the memory. I love the "cardboard" cutout. So special. When you were watching the lights, did you ever hear them? We can hear them sometimes and its amazing.  I love the background paper and stars. Love the story the most. ❤️

What a wonderful and beautiful memory! Your journaling is the true star of this page, but you've illustrated it gorgeously. I love the colors, the softness, the constellation and the silhouettes. The little bits of glitter add the perfect touch.
