Everything about this perfectly done. The industrial elements and that riveted alpha are pretty amazing. The torn mask really contributes to that old and worn feeling that the mine exhibits. Kind of cool that we have such diverse options in the shop! Your journaling drew me right in, eager to read every word to see how the story ends.

This is a terrific scrapbook page and reminds us of why we scrapbook. I love that wonderful old photo and the industrial looking elements you added to the page. Mostly, like mimes1 above, I was drawn to the story. That must have been a hard life, mining.

Wow, this is really awesome.   Your journaling and story is so interesting and a piece of history, I was glad to learn about it and your family's part in it.   Your Father's photo is wonderful and how special for you to have it to scrap.   I like your masking and background and your title is really cool.   I also really like how you let the photo and story shine, with little embellishments.
