Such a pretty heritage look. And I love the way you made the hearts thrown across the front look like they had been ‘cut out’ of the rectangle behind the photo.
Oh Belle, you crack me up. I just love the humor you put into your LO’s. Yes, you and your dog do look a bit alike, but I agree that his hair is a bit longer—LOL. Your short cuts fit you. They do say that we have a tendency to pick out dogs that look like us. I’m not sure that I look like a Yorkie, but maybe its due to the fact that he found me instead of me finding him. I will have to say, though, he’s one of the few types of dogs with longish, straight, body-less hair; so maybe God knew exactly what he was doing.
She certainly is! And what a wonderful job they have done! Poor little dear. I just can't imagine going through this when you don't know what is really happening. But maybe that is a blessing.
This is fantastic, Dot. The colors and emb’s are just SO BOY and still just as pretty as can be. I love your repetitive circles down the side, the delicious golden yellow, the darling story and how perfectly the train emb’s go with it, your creative WA and the journaling that ‘tells the story’.
Sending love and strength. You’re battling this so heroically—a true inspiration to us all.
What a wonderful job making this look like it’s in the middle of a storm-tossed sea. And I never tire of a lighthouse photo, especially one taken at that angle.
Good job, Diane. I like the clean, modern lines that you used to mirror the building and then the way you softened it with the blending of the palms into the gentle green background.
Oh boy, I see your name under a LO in the Gallery and I have to come see what inspiration you have given us today. And you never disappoint.
This is beautiful. I love the way you framed the photo, which is wonderful all on its own. You can barely tell where the photo leaves off and the embellishments take over and visa versa. Also very pleasing is the combination of the brown wood with a few greenish leaves, the pops of purple, and the soft pale lavender in the background.
A perfect and very beautiful ATC. Yes, the SG freebies are pretty outstanding.
PS - just saw a picture of you enjoying two little boys we know and love. Its so great that y'all are able to get together several times a year.

What a fantastic shot you got!!! And I love the way you made the page look like an old folded and torn photo. Your 'caption' was perfect. Looks like humorous card material to me.
I'm loving these photos, and especially now that I know the story behind them. You did such a nice job displaying them in this LO. The background and flowers are perfect.
Your 'little tweaks' really paid off. What a difference they made to your photo! And I love the simplicity of this LO, but with the arty touches in the papers. Your story made a great theme.
What a dear thing to do for your mother. And what a fun thing they are doing! Nice LO for the Hearts challenge. Like the way you used the faded edges heart to keep the color in the photo.
