I'm curious. How much time do you spend on a layout? On average. I think mine average 15-20 minutes max. And they show it LOL As my only "art" its either easy and I know what I want or its hard and I leave it simple. But I feel like maybe I'm not taking enough time to really create art (not looking for compliments, just thinking outloud). My layouts fit me. But I see the craft and art you all create and I wonder, how much time do you spend per layout?

Most of my layouts come together somewhere between 50 and 90 minutes. I tend to do LOs that include a lot, especially for the CT where I want to highlight kit contents. I am also a perfectionist about placement, shifting things in a miniscule way that no one would ever notice. (I need to get over that, LOL!). If I go past 1.5 hours, then I know the creative juices aren't flowing and I will usually set it aside and come back to it the next day. When I come back the next day, all the overthinking clutter in my head is gone and I can usually whip together the LO in under 30 minutes. Like Amy said, there are no rules to the creative process. Do what works for you!

I am so happy, had to share the news. Got this message a few minutes ago: "Your art piece, I'm Rare, matched all contest rules and guidelines and has moved forward to judging." So Awesome!! Incidentally, this is the same piece that made it into New Hampshire's Institute of Disabilities 2024 calendar!

Well the Dr says I’m a tough old broad. A car rolled over my leg tonight. I was helping a neighbor move her car, we were pushing, suddenly it started moving, I tried to jump in and pull the handbrake, and I fell over, and it rolled right over me. I went to the ER, bruised, scraped, but miraculously no broken bones! I’m in a lot of pain, but ok. I’m just lucky it never rolled over my hips or torso. Just have a follow up and things to watch out for. But I didn’t die. Lol.

I am So very thankful to have found SG and all the wonderful people here!! I have learned so much! The "how to" pages are so incredible. And I love love love that you all share your pages here so I (and others) can see and learn all the amazing ways to scrap. I am so thankful for all our artists who make such incredible products that I can use! Thank you all who put on challenges! Really stretches me in how to scrap, what I can do, and how many ways it can be interpreted. My heart is overflowing with joy and love I find here and all the encouragement! Thanks you Scrap Girl Community!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I have a problem. All my stash is sorted into my organiser. There are three people with the same initials.
- Silvia Romeo
- Susie Roberts
- Syndee Rogers
- I've done a search in the organiser but I don't know who SRO is. I found Silvia Romeo under Silvia, but what are the other two?

Sorry all that I haven't been around this week. My dad was admitted to the emergency room on Tuesday. So I've been dealing with that, helping take care of their dog, etc.

I want to send a private message to @Celestine. My mailbox is full. I don't know how to access it to empty it. There is not an option to send Celestine a PM. I don't know how to send my Fill in the Blanks form.

Don't forget you have through the weekend to finish all your games/challenges and the sale will last until Sunday for those busy playing along all week and didn't have time to shop

Yesterday mimes1-Amy with her husband and daughter came to hang out with us at the campsite....We had a very enjoyable day. If you ever have a chance to meet her...do it.
-
My computer has broken down. Probably from all the layouts that I did in the last 2 months. I had to take it in today. That is why I was rushing to finish my bingo. The guy says he doesn't know if he can retrieve anything. I've got 2 months of SG stash that I will have to download again. 😪 Not to even mention the photos.
