  1. Thanks for all your good wishes. Got my results back for Covid 19 today. Unfortunately, I am positive and so is my sister. We both need to stay quarantined until January 12th.

  2. Being a senior in Florida is awesome..   We were able to get the first Covid vaccine today and an appointment for the second shot....it will make our summer travels easier. Stay healthy my friends.

  3. Happy New Years Eve!

  4. I'm so excited I am going to meet Laura, her husband and her parents today for lunch. I think we will find lots to chat about.

  5. 2 hours in the dental chair. 3 Stitches later.. . Drugs? YUP! Just in time for Christmas. I guess I'll just be eating Trifle... or soup. LOL Dentist was so sorry for me, I could see his frustration. I have weird roots, they cross over below deck.

  6. Who is still doing last minute Christmas shopping?

  7. I have a 16 x 20 professional  portrait of my great grandfather circa 1900.  I have preserved it digitally and shared the digital copies with family.  But, no one in our family has a use for a portrait this large.  The photographer in me cringes at the thought of putting it in the trash.  Does anyone have an alternative to throwing away a perfectly good vintage portrait?

  9. 7 more working days and then I retire! 36 years at my job. I will miss it - but looking forward to a new chapter.

  10. My Christmas shopping is almost done!

  11. I’m so sorry to report the loss of our dear friend Becky (Becster) who has passed away. My heart hurts. ?

What a shock! She had gone through so much with her husband recently and was scrapping such heart-tugging, emotional pieces. Please send condolences to her family.

  12. My son Bryce just tested positive for Covid. He’s 33. Him and his family have been extremely careful, always wearing their masks and leaving packages outside for a few days etc. Now Dannelle and Addison are being tested today, but we won’t know for a few days. His was a rapid test because he could not smell anything for 3 days. And had a low grade fever. This is an awful and serious virus. Take care everyone.

  13. If you want to report to Google that Scrapgirls is a safe site here is a link to do that. Maybe it will speed things up a bit. https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_error/?tpl=mozilla&hl=en

  14. Just a FYI the new version of the forum has been released and we will be working on getting this updated.  It may be a week before it's done as this is a large update and requires alot of behind the scene's updating.  BUT one thing I did find out was this "recent status update" section has been abandoned in the new version and it does not look like there's a replacement.

  15. Just went to level 2. Getting everything loaded. Friends not to far from us are level 3. What a difference a few hours make. Will keep in touch as things allow.

  16. 9-11-01  Doesn't seem like it was 19 years ago.

  17. My extremely smart son who plans on pursuing oral surgery got a letter today.? So proud.

  18. Well today is the day we finally get our camp trailer. We ordered it June 24th so its' been a long wait!!! Starting our life change--water to wheels!

  19. So I cut off a piece of my finger this morning. Lesson: don’t use sharp rotary cutters on lack of sleep. I found the piece of finger when I got home. So much blood. Cut through some vessels - - not good.

  20. Did you see our $2 Treat Category?  We have our first items on sale until July 30th

  21. Boys are graduated, i'm finally caught up on things...think I may start on a new collection

  22. Yesterday we said our final goodbyes to our beloved son, taken too soon. We had a lovely service attended by family & friends as well as a live stream for those who were unable to attend due to COVID-19 restrictions. Our daughter, my brother & their families watched on from Western Australia. Further investigations are being carried out as to the cause. We may not have answers for a few months if we ever do.

  23. Anybody bite off a bit more than they expected? For Bingo there is a prompt to make a list. There is one I have been wanting to make for some time. Great time to get to it and then scrap it. Subject? Make a list of all the roses I have in my yard. Sounds simple right. Wrong. First, I didn't realize how many roses I had -- 33. Second I couldn't remember all their names. Have spent the last 3 days cataloging and looking up names of roses. But I do have my list with all their names!! Now to get it into a scrap page, or 2, or 3, 33 is a lot of roses.

  24. Covid has taught me my teens think they can sleep like vampires and keep odd schedules. ? Or maybe that's just because they're teens.

  25. Sad Happy.... We sold our big boat up here in CT. After 30years at this marina we will give it up and start land travels. We will be looking at travel trailers when we get back to Florida. Lucky the new owners cannot take possession till Aug 1 so they want us to stay... Visiting with our friends and family here for the next 6 weeks. Plenty of time to move out.
