    My son graduation is tomorrow he will start high school as  aAutistic individual it was a long journey this one will be emotional . He is in therapy since 8 months old, I'm so proud of his hard work and how far he came.

    Tomorrow we leave for our 4 1/2 month summer trip. I will try to keep up but I do know some of our camp sites will not have cell service. Phew after all the prep work I need a vacation.

    I had a ‘first’ on Friday. I am bald, and covering my head with scarves and wigs has become a pain, and it’s hot. So I thought, this is me now, if people don’t like it or are offended by it, it’s their problem. (It’s taken me 3 years to accept this) so Friday I was in line at Costco to pick up meds, when I suddenly felt a finger rub my head. I turned to see who it was, and it was a man in his mid 70’s who said “nice, I love it” so I quickly replied, “it’s not by choice”. Isn’t that crazy?

      Oh Andrea - it's a challenge for sure to accept any "new" norm - no matter how much we think we're OK with it - some comment or remark is sure to elicit an awkward response. Is it permanent? Hey - a look on the bright side ... more money to spend on digi supplies & less to have to spend on hair products! 😘

    This week I attended the Photoshop Creativity Virtual Summit -  I missed this community! Watching all those videos were great, lots of fantastic instructors! I have so many ideas of LOs to create - I think we need a new category for art /non photo LOs. What do you think?

    Andres has survived having her one kidney removed today.  She is in a lot of pain, mad and the nurse for delaying g her sleeping tablets and pain meds, otherwise she is in good spirits and sends love to y’all. This is her sister Melody.

    Turns out it was an F1 tornado that touched down in our town and the National Weather Service posted the stats. Yep, our house was on the direct path. The sound of chainsaws has been nonstop since Tuesday.

    As of Friday I won't be on SG for a while, I'm having surgery, they're removing my diseased kidney. Eek. I'm a tad nervous. A 6 week recovery.

    I found out this morning that my favorite virtual travel platform is shutting down on April 11th. So bummed that it's not a joke ... :monstercry:

      So funny @DixieLee! And very compassionate of you ... "Heygo" allowed ppl to travel the world without leaving their homes - you could watch and interact with the tour guide as they were giving the tour. And you could take pictures!! It was/is tip supported so you tipped the guides according to your ability. 

      I was learning so much and seeing all the great places I read about. Teachers were even taking their whole class on tours to compliment the lesson!

      It is really sad - many GREAT guides now out of work (there are over 500 guides worldwide). I am grieving for the loss of something that made me EXTREMELY happy ... Maybe I can make a LO about this?

    Who else was impacted by those storms last night? Wow - what a rough one!I had to high-tail it to my bathroom a few times. I hope there's minimal or no damage for you, and know that all is ok here!
