Very cool hat Pat. As it happens, I was just looking at a felting project (slippers) and thinking of giving it a try. I love your layout and details -- all that is missing is a picture of you in the final project. Next layout, right?
I hope the meds are working for you as your foot looks very sore. I really like the photo of the shoes and the way that you have used it in your layout. What a great way to respond to a difficult situation.
That sounds like a great thing to share with your Mom. Like you, I have finished a couple of projects - and have a couple more on the go - but would like to have some training. I'm trying to find a quilt group near my home that mets on an evening that works for me. Look forward to seeing some of your projects in future layouts.
What a pretty tree. I am with you on how relaxing it is to just look at the tree. We try to set aside a couple of evenings to sit and talk while we enjoy our Christmas decorations. They're around for such a short time, it is nice to be able to have time to enjoy them.
That looks like a unique and fun collection. It is so colorful. Seems like a great holiday tradition and I am glad that you were able to capture them all for your gratitude album.
You have a lot of great family pictures in your collection. I really like the combination of papers here - complement the picture so nicely. Thanks for sharing your story.
Good timing to get some summer thoughts and take a mental journey away from the snow. I really like how you have used the journaling paper. You are getting such wonderful stories on the small space of a 4x6.
Yum! Gwen and I are on the same wavelength it seems...she keeps saying the same as I am thinking. : ) I was also going to mention the colors you have selected here. Oh well, great minds just think alike, I guess.
What a great set of pictures. You're lucky to have so many of those heritage photos. I like the description that you have included about the challenges about which way to go and admire how you determined what you wanted to highlight for your girls.
