I am forever thankful I found SG and all of you! ❤️ My scrapbooks have been so private and I never share outside of the family as I dont think I know what I am doing. You have all been so wonderful encouraging me to share and then helping me make my pages so much better. When I have questions you all answer right away!! From emails answered within an hour to many questions @Celestine who answered them all and then some. @MariJ @Jane in N.Z @Boatlady @barbaraj and so many others! Your positive comments on my pages means more to me then you will ever truly know. Thank you so much for being supportive and a wonderful group! I have found my new home away From home and feel so loved! Thank you!!!!

Well, it's almost time to finish with the 100 layouts.  I've really enjoyed doing them and could quite easily do another 100. 

We already have a haze of wildfire smoke - so early that it already feels like autumn, and the weather just warmed up!

I'm off on my travels tomorrow - see you again in the middle of June. Don't get into any mischief while I'm away!😄

I had a ‘first’ on Friday. I am bald, and covering my head with scarves and wigs has become a pain, and it’s hot. So I thought, this is me now, if people don’t like it or are offended by it, it’s their problem. (It’s taken me 3 years to accept this) so Friday I was in line at Costco to pick up meds, when I suddenly felt a finger rub my head. I turned to see who it was, and it was a man in his mid 70’s who said “nice, I love it” so I quickly replied, “it’s not by choice”. Isn’t that crazy?

Tomorrow we leave for our 4 1/2 month summer trip. I will try to keep up but I do know some of our camp sites will not have cell service. Phew after all the prep work I need a vacation.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! And to the moms who have lost their babies or wanna be moms but are struggling, I see you. I pray for you. And to those who aren’t moms who don’t want to be or pet moms. It’s your day too, I support you and respect you. 😘

Got my 4th Family Cookbook sent off to the printer yesterday. Four cookbooks in seven months. Just one more to do this year. Yippee!

We are leaving shorty to go to TN to surprise my brother for our 70th birthday.I'm so excited to see him it's been almost 3 years.

I won't be around much, we are going to a week long Grand Design camper rally so not sure how internet will be.

Yay, we are out of the ICU. She is still on the heart monitor though, but we’re in the regular ward now. She went for a walk today and has her sense of humor back. We’re so happy to be here. More info tomorrow.

Andres has survived having her one kidney removed today.  She is in a lot of pain, mad and the nurse for delaying g her sleeping tablets and pain meds, otherwise she is in good spirits and sends love to y’all. This is her sister Melody.

Turns out it was an F1 tornado that touched down in our town and the National Weather Service posted the stats. Yep, our house was on the direct path. The sound of chainsaws has been nonstop since Tuesday. 

As of Friday I won't be on SG for a while, I'm having surgery, they're removing my diseased kidney. Eek. I'm a tad nervous. A 6 week recovery.

Today is my 12 anniversary with Scrap Girls. I must say, it's been an awesome 12 years.

Happy Friday all!!  Any fun weekend plans?

It feels like I’ve spent a month at the hospital. I’m so tired. Between my sister having emergency brain surgery, and @ broken wrist from the fall that caused the brain bleed, and my neighbor who came to my house and collapsed in my arms saying she’s I’ll and needs help. She stayed in the same hospital for 4 days. They both went home today so I can get my life back together.  Long story on my 42 year old neighbor.
