It feels like I’ve spent a month at the hospital. I’m so tired. Between my sister having emergency brain surgery, and @ broken wrist from the fall that caused the brain bleed, and my neighbor who came to my house and collapsed in my arms saying she’s I’ll and needs help. She stayed in the same hospital for 4 days. They both went home today so I can get my life back together.  Long story on my 42 year old neighbor.

Auckland was declared a state of emergency last night due to so much rain and terrible flooding in 24hrs all over the city. So many homes flooded. We live 1 1/2hrs north and the rain was horrendous. The ground was already soggy from ex cyclone Hale we had at the beginning of January.

We've been watching the terrible rain and flooding on the news, Pray you are safe and dry.

First eye cataract surgery waaaay early in the morning. Eep! 🙏💡

FYI give me a little extra time this week if you contact me. I tested positive for covid today and I’m still in the can’t move off the couch stage of it

I'll be moving in Feb - yay, but what a PIA! Been busy packing, saving my computer 'til the last minute. I'm in a bit of a panic bc the main internet providers do not service that very rural area! Any suggestions on what I can do?

I'm glad it's the 15th and my new club "Storyline" is finally live. There is a lot of work involved in getting a club out. Thanks to Angie and Cindy for what they do!

I'm sorry I'm not LSL on the layouts. The power situation is getting worse and when we have power, I just try to stay up to date.

It’s been an awful Season for me and my family. I was I hospital for 2 days and nights, with gastroenteritis, Noravirus, and Rotavirus, my 2 grandkids also, in Maine, and now 3 of my 4 in Gallup NM, throwing up, possible food poisoning. I don’t want this ever happening again. So I spent my Christmas In Hospital, being immune compromised, I pick everything up. I wish everyone a wonderful, happy, healthy New Year. 2023, bring it on!

🥲😭 My little Addison is in the ER, suspected appendicitis. She’s on a gurney with a drip, in the hallway! The hospital is full, RSV, Flu and also Covid rising there. Poor little mite. And Nana can’t be there…

 Oh NO!  I lost. a few days to a stomach bug -- sale ends tonight!!!!    Better get shopping! 🛒🛍️

Esti gave birth to a baby boy. Lukas. 11:40. 2 9kg. 

I have just discovered my zip files for all my purchases from 2007 to 2019 on the desktop computer that David uses. Happy days! 

After 10 years & 4 months I have had my final oncology appointment. No more pills for that & cleared by the doctor. Saying goodbye to the Big C. I hope we never meet again.

Ooh...they are calling for 2.5" of snow tonight...it's too early in the season for this!

I have been MIA for a while. We were away in the caravan for 6 weeks catching up with all the family in the west. It was great to all (17) be together again after Covid has kept us apart for over 3 years. Also I have been pretty bummed at losing my EHD contents. Thanks to our wonderful Angie for sending me download links to my purchases. I have to now unzip & organise nearly 200 purchases. I had a lot of photos that I had saved to CDs & made photo books of all our travels but there are some that are lost for good. Soon I should be able to get back to scrapping.

I've been trying out some "artsy" LOs - I love the grungy, mixed media style. I haven't found a lot of those styles here at SG, but I just bought Marlene's Artsy Journal goodies & am so excited!
