Getting nervous, not sure if we will have a home when we get back to Florida. We are just north of Tampa and only 1/2 mile inland. Starting our return trip from CT to FL on Friday. Good luck to everyone in Ians path.

Been kind of off the grid lately. Back & hip giving me lots of trouble. Finally had a MRI today. Hoping for some answers next week. (What I really want is a magic wand that will make it all go away!)

Hi there! I wanted to let the ladies know on Scrapbook girls the passing of Linda Robin. She was very active. She hated dead flowers, so let the flowers bloom in her honor.

God bless the Queen. May she rest in peace. ?

Home from our little holiday and it was a nice relaxing time. Have some beach photos to create pages with. 

3 months on the road, 9000 miles so far. We will be in CT in 2 days to be with family & friends for Sept. This country is very beautiful.

Now we are all settled in our new little home, Ken decided after all we have been through it was time for a little holiday. Tomorrow we head to a seaside town for four nights. I am looking forward to morning walks on the beach. 

My husband is a very  happy man. Last week he went to the local museum which is a small village set out, to volunteer. In conversation about all the woodwork he used to do, they have allocated him a  workshop of his own to set up and use. He will make wooden items to sell in their Information centre store.  With our move to a retirement village I was concerned about what Ken  would do to fill in his days...

We have been home from our trip for 2 weeks now. I had been experiencing shortness of breath since day one of our walking tours & it hadn’t gotten any better so decided to go to the GP. She sent me for a CT scan - pulmonary angiogram & they found I had bilateral blood clots in the lungs so straight to ED & spent the night in hospital. Luckily they had not impacted my heart but I am now on blood thinners for the next 6 months. Just have to rest & take it easy.

We returned home on Tuesday from our tour of Spain, Portugal & Rhine river cruise from Basel to Amsterdam. We had a great time but are totally exhausted. David had some heart issues while we were away & has been having some blood tests, ECGs & Doppler studies the last couple of days. It is similar to what happened 3 years ago. Hopefully increasing his medications again will help the problem.

Power has been off twice in the last three days. Day one - they were replacing power poles up the road - only out 2+ hours. Then today the power pole on our property just fell over (rotten at the base - been there since 1984.) That took out the power for the whole subdivision for 6 hours. (Glad our home is well insulated - we managed to stay comfortable, even in this heat.)

Hope everyone is having a great 4th weekend

One month into Our Grand Adventure (trailer is a Grand Design) went 3,512 miles, used 225 gal of diesel, have been in 8 states, 14 different campground, went from home in Florida at 14 ft above sea level to the top of Pikes Peak 14,104 ft in Colorado, stepped in 4 states at once at 4 corners. 3 1/2 more months !!!

So at long last I've got a minute to scrap and the power is going off again in 2 minutes.

We have moved into our little home but it is taking time to settle in because I became very sick on the weekend with a bad sinus attack. Today I have set up my computer and all is well with my internet through my smart phone which I am happy about. 

This time next week we should be busy moving things into our new little home and hope to be sleeping there the following day.

Tomorrow we will be boarding our flight to begin our journey through Spain & Portugal before flying to Zurich then doing a River Cruise from Basil to Amsterdam. This trip was supposed to be in 2020 but postponed due to Covid.

We are in hot windy Oklahoma and go to even hotter Dodge City Kansas tomorrow. I wish I had time to make a few pages. I have been posting pics on FB.

We are in Arkansas now for a few days...I am loving this new trailer and our new adventure....but still miss boat life.  Good service has been spotty so it's been hard to keep up here.

My 15 year old just got her driver's permit!  DH took her driving this evening.  Watch out!  ?

Almost ready! Tomorrow is the big day...we leave for our summer camping trip out west. I will try to keep up but may not have allot of spare time or internet.
