We were lucky to have Charlotte here for a visit on her 30th birthday. She is allergic to eggs, so is delighted when I bake her a cake she can eat. I decorated it with fresh pansies. And I didn't realize until I posted it that I'd already done a layout of her birthday. Uses the June Storyteller Club by Blue Heart Scraps. -

Donut & Taco 4-17-23 Journaling: We said goodbye to Tucker on April 11th and Calvin & Rosie were missing him along with the rest of us and so I found these cute stuffed Bichons on Amazon and bought one for each of them in memory of Tucker. {A few days later, I bought one for myself as well.} They immediately loved them, snuggled with them and carried their puppies around with them all evening and the next day. In this photo they are sitting in one of Tucker’s favorites spots. Rosie named her puppy Donut and Calvin named his Taco because when Calvin & Rosie were little they couldn’t say Tucker very well and it came out sounding like Taco.💕 I braided little collars for their Bichons and on my stuffed Bichon I folded up the scarf that Tucker wore on his last day and tied it around his neck. • All created in Affinity for computer Credits: Storyteller by Blue Heart Scraps Exclusively at ScrapGirls during June. https://store.scrapgirls.com/1-Scrap-Girls-Club-Monthly-Billing-Cycle.html -

I love the versatility of the Sublime Bundle by Chere Kaye. This is the 2nd layout I created using this kit and it looks completely different than the first one since I chose to use a different color palette from the huge selection of papers. Antler Lodge 2-20-20 Journaling: Every winter, usually in late January or February, several girlfriends get together for a long weekend for what now has been named “The Craft Retreat”. As our group has changed and grown, we have stayed at Potato Creek, Esther’s lake cottage, and now at Antler Lodge in Middlebury. Antler Lodge is the perfect location for us as there is a lot of space for crafting in the large common area that includes the kitchen and a cozy fireplace. There are also plenty of beds and bathrooms. This photo is from an album given to my great great grandmother after a visit with her in 1898. The book has witty subtitles but not a single name and is signed Mrs. C.W.B. I do a lot of crocheting and knitting when I am not creating layouts pages. This beautiful Heart blanket was crocheted for my husband for our 40th wedding anniversary back in 2018. I was delighted when my aunt sent me a scan of this photo. The boy in the center is my great-grandfather. I have a set of books given to the children and used the inscriptions to figure out nicknames. This was created with the June ScrapGirls Club My Summer Junk Journal by Florju, but it doesn't look like she added it to her shop, so I can't give you a link. Thanks for looking! -
