  1. From the album: Misc. Fun Stuff

Here's my Facebook cover photo that I did partially on my phone (Nokia Lumia; using free Phototastic app) and partially in PSE11 on my desktop. I've been playing around with photoediting on my phone, and while this doesn't have a photo, I did pull Brandy Murry's "Script" paper from her Noella Collection off my Dropbox file. The two solid borders around the Script paper were options I selected in Phototastic. "Completion" banner was done in the app, as well as the text line at the top, "My Word of the Year for 2015." I saved it as a JPG and emailed it to myself. Later, I pulled it up on my desktop email, downloaded the JPG, and brought it into PSE 11. Then I dropped in the black banner at the bottom with text and all the layers of embellishments, including the ribbons at the top/bottom. Now, my next challenge will be to figure out how to layer more of the embellishments in Phototastic. I didn't have time to figure out how to bring the embs into the app without the white backgrounds. But all in all, it was a fun project! (Advice welcome on how to bring embs in without the backgrounds.)
