Terri M
I use PSE 2021 and often make use of layout templates from the ScrapGirls store. If there is text included, usually saying something like "journaling goes here" I will use the text box, maybe changing the font and size. If the original text has first line of paragraphs indented, that carries over. Not a problem EXCEPT that the indentation behavior seems to stick in any text I create after that - despite creating a new file, rebooting, etc. I can only reset it so I don't have indented paragraphs by restoring the default PSE settings, which then means I need to re-do all the changes I like working with. Maybe there is a text box style or something that can get set in PS but isn't accessible in PSE? Is there any easier way I can get rid of the paragraph indent? MariJ
Oh wow - I have had that problem also but forgot about it because somehow it resolved and I"m not sure how. Oh no - you surely don't want to be resetting preferences, that is painful to then have to fix it all up again. I hope someone has an answer. I have to do something now, but I'll try researching in a bit.
Belle
Yup, this has happened to me as well. Most frustrating. My PSE is inclined to reset itself from time to time. After that, the problem is gone. But then I have to customise my PSE all over again. Also frustrating.
mimes1
Sometimes I'll delete the text box that comes with a template and replace it with a new one. I use PS cc, so not sure if that addresses your concern, but you never know!
Terri M
There's a thought -- maybe if I delete the text box before I enter into it with the Text tool, it won't make changes to my settings. I'll try to remember to do that next time.
