Hello all!

I'm having difficulty uploading.  I must be leaving something out.  States my files are too large. I have been searching this in forum but cannot seem to find easy step by step instructions.

Thank you

Save them size 2000 x 2000 pixels. Sometimes when I use CarolW Designs, I just can’t get them small enough so u upload them to Facebook and then download the Facebook thumb nail. I hope this helps!

,Thank you!. A couple more questions:  when saving the PSD, do you "merge Visible" or flatten.  When setting up the template, do you use the 8, 16 or 32 bit?  Thanks again, I havent scrapped in over a decade and having to relearn.

Hi Mimilissa, A few weeks ago we had a similiar discussion HERE. If you browse through this post and then on down a few there is some good information from @scrapgarden that might be just what you're looking for.  Hope this helps!

As far as what bit to build a layout in, I use PScc2024, and create new layouts with 8 bit.  I played around with 16 bit to see what would happen, and the layouts would take forever to save and the file size was bigger than it needed to be. I'm no expert, and this info is just from my playing around.  Hope this helps also.

I like your name - my screen name "mimes" stems from mimi, my nickname!

And Welcome to ScrapGirls!

The upload size is 600x600 pixels. If your image is that size and still won't upload, there is an occasional photoshop bug that doesn't reduce the file size. When I've had that happen, I drop the image into a new file in photoshop and save it as something slightly different and that has always solved the problem for me.

If you'd like, you can send your image to forum@scrapgirls.com and I can take a look at it to see what is causing the issue.
