I actually sort of speed-scrapped this. I usually takes several days of a couple hours a piece to finish something, and lots of second guessing myself, but I just started grabbing things from my folders and put this together in a quick session between my DS's bedtime and my own tonight.

Journaling is :

"August 2005

Playing in the sand at the Oregon Coast

Like most kids your age, your favorite way to investigate a curious substance, in this case sand, is to place it in your mouth. This is me trying to encourage other scientific methods of gaining knowledge, i.e. how it falls to the ground as it leaves your hand."

 

Since I used a Downtown overly, thought I'd post here! TFL.

I really like this layout! Nice choices of embellishments, colors, arrangement of everything, etc.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who normally takes as long on LOs as you said, but I need to try some "speed scrapping" too, see if I can get it to turn out this nice! :) Great job!

Speed-scrapping - wow I am in awe of this. Mine usually need more work and I spend tons of time on them. This is a very cute LO and I love all the layering of embellishments.

You did an awesome lo out here - doesn't reflect any "speed" scrappin' This would definately take me several hours/days to put together.
