Palm Sunday

This is an Easter Card that I created for my Cousins Ginny and JB. The photo was taken of us on Palm Sunday, probably around 1954 or 1955, I would have been about 8 or 9. We are from left to right: Ginny about 9 or 10, Carol (me), Johnny Boy (JB) around 8 or 9 and my sister Donna, who must have been about 11 or 12. I was born and raised in The Bronx, New York and moved out to California in 1973 with my then employer 20th Century Fox Film Corp.

Products Used:

Fonts: Tulip letter "H & E" by Lettering Delight -- Yellow letters by Cheryl Barber from Scrap Girls

Purple mat, flower mat and purple lace frame: By Vickey Morrisey from her Tulips for Sigfired collection

WOW Carol this really does take one back to the beauty of black and white photos way back then! You all look so nice in your Sunday Easter best...Mom and her siblings did that too but I don't know if there are any photos of them dressed up this way. I love the purples and the flowers...Its an awesome LO!

Thank you both for your kind words. I'm getting so much better about uploading my layouts, once I get them done that is. I've checked out some of your layouts and have left some love.

Vaughnde, I couldn't find where to leave any comments on your layouts at Photobucket, so I'll be leaving some love here on the boards for you.

Wow! Great job. Love how the flowers are half in and half out. Of course I just LOVE heritage pictures (but since it is you, not so heritage).
