Journaling :

A vist to the Everson Museum to see the beautiful artwork by many of the classics. From Turner to Cezanne and many American artists as well from the Late 1800's to the early 1900's.The girls were taken with the absolute beauty of the artwork and we discussed what we liked and didn't like. They are growing up so fast, I was so proud of them. You did great girls. Thanks for going with Dad and me. love, Mom Nov09

Without "trying" it myself here's what I'd do and see how it works:

Move the picture up a little bit (same with the lace). Scatter the flowers around the layout, so they will guide the viewer's eye around the page. Three of them are just right. One more think I'd change is the journaling typing direction. Try to rotate it, so it will look as if it was typed on that sheet of paper. This is a small detail.

 

Did you merge the whole layout or just some layers?

Thanks to both of you. I guess I had done something with the top of the LO as I thought both items were at the top. I love the idea of moving the flowers around and the text. I merged the layers . Maybe I could go back and change it.
