CRS Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 Mischief Week is here and things can get crazy in the chatroom! At times, the chat can fly by and even the most seasoned veterans can miss a lot! Here are some tips to make chat easier to follow: 1. There is a button with 4 arrows pointing away from the center just above where you type your responses. If you click on that button, the chat screen will open up into a larger screen for you. Much easier to follow! 2. Did you know you can increase or decrease the size of your font? At the top, there is an Options tab. Click on that and choose Format Messages, then Font Size. Choose a size that is comfortable for you! 3. Double spacing helps so much! To do that, go to the Options tab again, then Format Window. Double space will be an option. I keep double space on even when there are only a few people in chat! Also, there is a green circle button just above the typing box. If you click on that, then choose the New Message option, you can type your name (or brb, or any short message you'd like) and it will appear next to your screen name in the box listing all those members in the chatroom. We are a friendly group and love to learn about each other, including names, lol! The hostesses of the chat will appear in a shade of red and will be bold so it's easier to find their responses. Other team members will be in blue. You are welcome to change the color of your font, but please don't choose red or blue. Feel free to add any tips that you may have to this thread!
