Michael's Rose

This "Chicago Peace" rose was given to our family in remembrance of my brother Michael when he passed away last year. It bloomed this week 2 days before the 1 year anniversary of his passing away and I was able to get a few nice pictures of it. I ended up using not the best overall picture but one that I erased the less than perfect background on that had the best rose profile.

 

I was inspired by (Scraplifted?) Joyce Schardt's beautiful LO: Summer Sizzle
