2011_03_15 Freebie Challenge

 

A tecnique that I used in this layout, was that I turned the photo b/w, then clipped it to the BMU_SSTools_Actions_MegaLift_Special stamp. I dragged it into the background as a smart object so that it would remain clear, then used the JWH_BrushSet_HodgePodge brush over the it. First I faded the brush, then I decided to use full grey colour on it and erased strips with a stippled brush. To brighten it, I added an inner glow and brushed on a few dark strips with a hard bristle brush. The brushes were used with a 50% opacity.

Heatheranne, you are just so creative! I love this! Love the photo of you and I really like the black and white layout (which all of the little touches you added) and the little cluster of stamps anchored by the bright red flower at the bottom right! Very cool layout! You do SUCH nice work!

Great page. I thought of the early days of b/w TV when I saw the lines across your photo. Do you remember when we had to adjust the "horizontal hold"? lol.
