Hoarding

There was the suggestion in the forum that we scrap what we hoard. Here are some of the things I have in plenty.

Frame and background from "Remember When" by Cherie Shields.

I pulled paper clips from every kit I have. They are by: Cherie Shields, Petra Losbischler, Angela Sharrow, Conny B, dedicated2Digital, Lauren Reid & Jessica Safty, Kay Eflin, Gayle Richter, and Amanda Berhmann.

The pencils are by Katie Pertiet at Designer Digitals.

All the other objects were pulled from Google images.

Journaling: Like a squirrel preparing for winter, I hoard my supplies. And while the squirrel at least is fed by his hoard, I starve in the midst of plenty.

I do this as well. Great job with the stash of paperclips! Very creative layout!! Thanks for sharing this with us. Maybe we can learn to use some of our precious supplies one day soon.

wow. Just wow. Your journaling was like a punch to the chest. What a powerful LO. (and being that I am a recovering anorexic, the "starving" is just an amazingly powerful image) TFS. Just wow....

This is such a funny, fantastic LO. I know exactly what you mean by hoarding supplies. I think I collect scrapbook paper more than I actually use it. Great job!

I think this is an awsome LO. It look like a drawer. I love the colors in all the stuff. I think i hoard colors whether it is fabric, or markers or clothes. Isn't that weird.

Love the way you've presented your stash in a shadowbox.

After this we'll all be making sure we start to use up those things we are 'saving for the perfect moment'.

It was the piles of art supplies that caught my attention first in a "me to" kinda way ^_^ ! I loved the

shadowbox look -- wish my desk drawers were that immaculate.

However, it was your journaling that stuck with me -- the idea of starving in the midst of plenty. It

was concise and powerful -- beautifully written.

Thanks for the inspiration.
