I hope the white in the pictures counts :) I figured since snow is where we got the inspiration for the challenge, then by golly, pictures of the stuff would count :) (And I threw in some white brads just in case LOL)

Used the following items:

evak_sparkling-icestorm_FF_bg4 (stripe paper, slightly recolored)

SP_HolidayMagic_RedBrad (recolored to white because I couldn't find any basic white brads in my collection LOL)

Font: Elegant

And I created a clipping mask ALL BY MYSELF (hehehe) for the first time to create the wave/swell on the papers! Yippee.... go me!!

I'd say "Cool"...but that seems so trite! Great layout and a great photo. And a triple cheer for doing the curved mask thing for yourself. I'm such a newbie that I don't even know exactly what that means, but the results are fantastic! :cheeringdog:

Hilarious!! I love it! I really like how you used the photo as your background, this really works with the whites and blues. Gorgeous LO!

Congrats on the new technique - and on the great pics. Fun journalling and I'm with Ben on the eval of ice fishing. Once was more than enough for me. Great for white challenge.

I love the large photo you have placed on the top. Very crisp and clean.

Dh husband has been trying to talk me into ice fishing and now I can see why I was so adamant that I didn't want to.

I never thought about the photo being the main piece in a LO. I'm always putting somewhere in a background. Thank you for the inspiration and ideas. Well done!!
