One technique I did in this layout:

 

I typed Happy Birthday in Bernhard Mod BT font I then simplified the type, then I layered KSC Cucina gingham red paper above the type.

I then grouped the 2 together, merged and then added a cream colored stroke around the letters. I then gave it a small bevel to coordinate with the Tuscan Dream Alphabet that I wrote SANDY in.

Also I printed the Apron a second time. Cut it out and attached it above the apron on the card with pop dots

This is lovely. Would work awesomely also for a recipee book:) or even the cover page for a Recipee book. Awesome job.
