This was a quick and easy layout with my cute doggie Jodie. Every Christmas we dress her in her Santa suit. She tears open her own presents and enjoys lots of treats! I used the Home for the Holidays kit (digitalscrapbookplace.com) and Candy Cane font (dafont.com).

This is my Sunday morning digi page. Now that I am back to work (teacher) I am trying to do one digi page per week, learning a new technique or using a new embleeishment. My new technique for this was to warp the text in an arc to echo the shape of the top of the Space Needle. The photo frame was originally in a mottled gray and I changed it to black/gray with the paint bucket. The background photo has a dry brush filer on it, which doesn't show up much on the computer. There are a lot of things to learn in Photoshop! We went on an Alaskan cruise this summer, so I have pages to scrap for many weeks to come!

I baked this cake for my sister-in-law's 25th anniversary party. I took the photo of the cake and of them cutting the cake, then used Photoshop to shear the cake-cutting photo and "embed" it in a picture of the cake.
  18. Outrageous layout! I love it! I like how you put the pan measurements in the layout. I also love Ina Garten (a.k.a. Barefoot Contessa) - I have this recipe but I haven't baked the brownies yet - your layout makes me want to bake and eat them right away!

I made this in Photoshop 7. The background mat for the photos is the same photo made into a mosiac. I love to play around in Photoshop with the different filters!

Just something simple for today...my dog and cat open their own presents at Christmas (of course we all know what they are looking for), so I took lots of pictures and made this page! Simple, easy and quick!

I took a picture of a uniquely colored rose on a trip to Maine last summer and made this background paper from that. Using Photoshop 7 and a copy of the original photograph, I cut around the rose and put it in various positions in different layers, adjusting the opacity each time. The dog is my cocker spaniel Jodie who loves to "steal" my shoes and socks and snuggle with them (at least she doesn't chew them)!

    Day 1 (Page 1)

This is so cool! I love how you scrapped your journal and trip info. This summer I went on an Alaskan cruise and, of course, saved everything, including info on all our stops and daily newsletters. You have given me some great ideas on how to scrap all my stuff! Thank you!

I couldn't decide how to use all the pictures I took during my sister-in-law's anniversary party, and I didn't want to make multiple pages, so this is what I did. I actually "scraplifted" the idea from me of the scrapbooking magazines that I subscribe to. So thank you to a published someone for the idea!

This was one of my first attempts at digi scrapping. I did a paper scrapbook page with watercolor paints as the background and thought it would look cool if I did a computer scrapbook page and made it look the same way. I made my own watercolor paper using Photoshop 7.
