sarabethp Posted October 1, 2009 Share Posted October 1, 2009 I've had LR on my desktop where all my photos are stored. I use synctoy to backup my pictures to my ehd. I use this ehd to hold my files while I scrap on my laptop. I just got Lightroom on my laptop, but all the edits I make in Lightroom didn't transfer. Guest Peppi Posted October 1, 2009 Share Posted October 1, 2009 Lightroom doesn't change the info on your photos in your photo folder itself. The changes are saved in your Lightroom Catalog. If you want to work on 2 PCs on your photos you will have to export the catalog from one computer to the other and vice versa and merge them.
